We use ZERUST® products which work by releasing a harmless, non-toxic, odorless, colorless vapor into the air around your metal item. This molecular layer inhibits electrochemical reactions on the surface of the metal that cause corrosion. Exposed metal surfaces protected by ZERUST® benefit from a long-lasting shield against rust, tarnish, and corrosion.
Arizona Shrink Wrap also uses ZERUST®/EXCOR® Vapor Capsules which are portable capsules containing proven Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) technology. They are used to protect metals in hard-to-reach areas of control panels, electrical cabinets, or any other enclosed spaces from corrosion.
ZERUST® Vapor Capsules diffuse invisible, odorless, and non-toxic ZERUST® VCI molecules that settle onto exposed metal surfaces inside the packaging or enclosure. Upon removal from the packaging or enclosure, the VCI will dissipate from the metal surfaces, allowing immediate painting, welding, or further processing. Vapor Capsules protect multiple metal types from rust and tarnish for up to 1 or 2 years, depending on the capsule model in a sealed enclosure.
Arizona Shrink Wrap also uses ZERUST®/EXCOR® Axxanol™ Spray-G which is a sprayable grease-based rust preventative that provides the protection of a grease in the convenience of a sprayable form. We use it to protect metal parts, equipment, and assemblies during long-term indoor and outdoor storage and challenging overseas shipping applications where a removable coating is essential.
